Blokus

The digital version of Blokus in C++ that you can play solo or locally with a friend in a turn-based format, with up to two players using different color sets (Blue/Red for Player 1, Yellow/Green for Player 2).

Gameplay Overview:

• Players take turns placing their uniquely shaped pieces on the grid. To place a piece, click to select your color's piece, drag it to your desired location, and release to drop it. Rotate with the 'R' key or flip horizontally using 'F' for more flexibility. If you make an error or want to reposition a piece, hit '-' or release the piece outside the grid.

• Pieces must touch at least one of your own color's pieces, but only at the corners (think Tetris-style stacking). You cannot place pieces that share edges with your own color, though you can overlap diagonally or touch your opponent’s pieces.

• After placing a piece, confirm your move by pressing 'Enter'. If you can’t make any more moves, hit ‘END TURN’ in the top right to pass your turn and move to the next player.

Rules:

• Player 1 uses Blue and Red, and Player 2 uses Yellow and Green.

• The objective is to leave the fewest squares on the board. Each piece has a set number of squares, and your goal is to minimize the total number of unused squares by the end of the game.

• The game will display the turn order in the top left, with Player 1 always starting with Blue. The game ends when all players hit 'END TURN', and the final score is calculated based on the remaining unused squares of each player's pieces.

Controls:

• 'R' to rotate the selected piece.

• 'F' to flip the piece horizontally.

• '-' to reset the selected piece or drag it outside the grid.

• 'Enter' to confirm a move.

• 'Esc' to quit at any time.

Objective:
To win, you need to minimize the number of squares left within your pieces at the end of the game. Everyone starts with 89 squares across all their pieces, so strategic placement is key!
